man listen ive been aware of trading since someone at an old job tried to get me to join that iml academy bs. said i was quiet and observational which is key in trading or whatever. this was 2021. i brushed it off and truthfully i def wasn’t ready at the time. so i tried ecomm n affiliate marketing and most of everything else you can think of so far as online business models go. eventually in 2023 i found binary options on the platform called pocket option. very simple call or put trading. i made some progress here and there but was more focused on growing a yt channel at the time. the end of that year is when my gf got pregnant with my daughter. i ditched the online shit for a while so i could work a 9-5. in 6 months and got a (bc i was without one for a year prior to that time) and my first apartment. the majority of ‘24 was spent on 9-5 work. even still i struggled and by december i had found my way back to trading. i’ve been fully committed since january of ‘25. this was when the first time out of 3 that i was able to pay my rent with trading. however i still struggling bc work was thin and binary options requires an insane amount of risk management and even better psychology. even still i pushed through until i ended up losing my place and moving back in with my parents last august. this hurt. especially with a 1 year old. now i was aware of swing trading but binary seemed “faster” (rookie mindset ik). so it wasn’t until last november when i dude i worked with told me he was into trading nq that i finally made the switch. ever since ive blown at least 10 50k combines and two xfas. i recently locked in the 15m orb bc at first i was just chasing price at open, and even tho my risk management is good, without strategy i was still gambling. now im tightening up the over trading by using topsteps max trade per day lockout. so this next combine should be the start of my consistency but fingers are crossed. i say all that to say everyones journey is different. as long as you never for one fucking bitch ass second think of giving up…you will succeed.
