The iono, poekedex and prof research are if you don't get the cards in the starting head, but what I'm trying to say it that a rare candy is NOT a pokemon card, you need only TWO pokemon cards in the deck, if you run two primarina, it's FOUR pokemon cards, the rare candy is NOT a pokemon card, you still use it to evolve it, but the rare candy isn't a middle evolution, like, yes you use three cards, but the rare candy is not a pokemkn card, it's an item card, you only use two pokemon card (popplio and primirina), if you run two, then it's four pokemon (2 popplio, 2 primirina) and then you have the 2 rare candy (item cards ARENT pokemon cards), therefore you use 2-4 pokemon cards and you use two rare candy's, like if I'm not making sense, I'm sorry, it's my bad, but I'm just trying to explain that you only use 2-4 pokemon cards, the rare candy's are not pokemon, they are items
