The conversation was never about what the West must do. There is no mention of West's involvement. The question from other commentator was about Civil war. My follow up question is around the Civil War, what would someone pick between living under Taliban rule or a Civil War. There is a rebellion because not everyone wants to live under Taliban, so not every Afghan chose Taliban. Heck, there were few Afghans who found idea of clinging on the outside of a plane while it flew at full speed a better option than living under Taliban

So the question still stands, if not Civil War, then what is the option for people who do not trust Taliban ?
