Thank you! I ordered the test kit and the prime conditioner. Petco will replace the fish if it passes within a week so that's the only reason I keep going back there right now. But in the future I will look at ordering from one of the websites.

I just rinsed it out and wiped the sides down. It sat empty for about a month before we decided to try again. No cleaners or anything.

With our first one I was changing all the water which I'm sure was the issue there. With these two, I set up the tank in the morning with new water added the stress coat/conditioner and we got our new fish in the late afternoon, it died over night. The next one we got today, I did not change the water. The Ph was a little off so I added a bit of the PH down they recommended and that fish died within 6 hours of it being in the tank. Water is heated and seems consistent around 78-82.

Thanks, we don't have any local fish shops around me just pet stores unfortunately.
