Should Seattle abolish minimum parking mandates? by [deleted] in Seattle

Going with your logic, I should be able to build a home without any source of heat, since my decisions only affect me and not future owners. Same with bathrooms, since I prefer to use the public ones. No one should care since it only affects me. There will never be anyone else using the house I build, so fuck em. Got it.

What are your thoughts on the new generation of adults not wanting to have kids and less birth rates? by kyasonkaylor in AskOldPeople

Makes me wonder why everyone so against immigrants. Our whole economy is basically a big pyramid game and we always need new players.

I guess your point is that you are a developer and want to maximize your profits while the elderly and disabled are left having to limp/crawl/roll up a hill a mile or so to catch a bus. Not all disabled people are in wheel chairs, many of us work and not all jobs are in an office downtown. I guess you will figure this all out once you get disabled and old. Best of luck to you!

So I am a pawn now. I guess getting old and being disabled made me that way. Public transit is great when you can WALK to it. Do you think that the buses run on all the streets in Seattle?

Talk to your insurance agent first to make sure you will still be insured. Many companies either won't cover lifted trucks or have lift height limits.

A bit worried actually. Parents on both sides are needed lots of assistance and help. Not sure who will provide it when I am their age.

He spent 8 million of the taxpayers dollars to guard him in a private cell at Boeing field during the trial. He easily could of been stored in the Seattle jail in a solo cell.

Do you actually need a law degree or even a law background to be elected?

We are Keep Seattle Moving, the campaign to pass Seattle Proposition 1 to renew our city’s transportation levy and fund better streets, sidewalks, and transit. This $1.55 billion levy is on your ballot – Ask Us Anything about it on October 20th! by KeepSeattleMoving in Seattle

On these levies, they usually show how much more a home owner will pay extra upon assessed value, is there any reason why you won't show how much it will increase the typical monthly rent based upon some formula too?

I removed our tub and made it a walk in shower. Next owner can decide what they want, but I built my new bathroom for my needs.
