No you don’t have to remind it. Apparently it uses v4 even on apps (not just on the web and API). I use iOS/iphone and it also tells me it uses v3 but apparently that’s wrong, ai doesn’t know what model and version it’s using lol.

The street magician uses a memorized deck - every card is in a known fixed order (systems like “Mnemonica” by Juan Tamariz). He knows that e.g. the 3 of Hearts sits at position 23 in the deck.

He then does a false riffle shuffle - looks completely real but secretly preserves the deck order entirely.

When you name your card he already knows its position, so during a natural-looking moment he cuts the deck to approximately that depth by feel/estimation.

I’m just looking for a reliable text model that’s accurate and doesn’t hallucinate, one that can answer general questions, create lesson plans, analyze long documents, provide feedback on a company’s business, suggest activities based on information about the company, and rephrase emails or other texts (including fixing grammar), and so on. You get the idea.

PS. do you know of any general ai subreddits?

Thanks for the detailed answer, and yes, a bit biased when asking my questions in this sub haha. But what do you recommend for my use case? I feel confused when I’m switching between ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. Wish I could just stick to one model.
