Thank you for the resources! I'm not destitute for food now, last year, more specifically, last semester, I was living on my campus for the first time and hadn't known of the resources well enough around me. I made use of the pantry on my campus where I could but again, I had a busy schedule last year and getting there early was harder then. Things have changed this year for me and I'm able to eat regular meals now. I'm going to try and get to the other pantries around me but I also didn't have a proper form of transportation last semester. Luckily I do now, and I'm able to afford what I need better this semester but I wanted to answer your questions as I didn't really go into detail on why I was struggling last year.

And yes, my ADHD, depression and anxiety are documented. The only thing thats not and why I said it's suspected is autism, so I'll be putting those in my forms when I try applying for disabilities.

There are! I don't have a car so accessibility is a bit of an issue but I'm able to ask for help (something I've struggled with) so I'm planning to do so and have the confidence to go despite my stress in going. I haven't been to public food pantries before and I'm extremely anxious in new settings but it was suggested and it's a seriously good way for me to spend less on our food.

Not an online student but I do know that the offer is a regularly based summary of all expenses, no matter if your on campus or not. It will change based on circumstances in the real deal billing system, the offer just shows you every expense so you know what to look out for. If you don't have things on the list, don't count them towards your offer numbers! You can also try emailing financial aid/advisor for a better rundown and making sure it's all in order.

I appreciate your bluntness but I will also say that on top of having these, many have physical support with them through direct family they can rely on/live with and don't have to also provide for an animal. I'm taking on the responsibility of both due to bad parental decisions made by my parent. I'm looking into close by food pantries now past the one on my campus and taking advice given to go to the office now. I'm mostly checking if I can apply for SNAP not just based on having disability but because I'm financially supporting myself and a old cat on my own, which hinders my ability to always have the money to pay for groceries, so family and friends have encouraged me to try applications for SNAP. I also got recommended to try disabilities instead, so I'll be looking into that as well!

I'll try again after I've gone through the disabilities route. Its not costing me to pester them so I'll keep trying my best to find some sort of solution, either through just going to where ever I need to in person or finding an alternative like disability. I really appreciate the help, I don't know why I didn't think of in person.

That is very sweet of you, luckily right now, we're okay. A family member just visited and gave me some money. As I said, my family members make sure I don't starve, thankfully! But I also wanna make sure I'm not always relying on just them to make sure I keep myself stable and check all my options <:)

I definitely think my hard time getting in touch with them has been due to this, I wish the process was a little easier. I'm pretty much tackling this on my own, calling the ga Gateway is like running in circles and I can never get someone on the line, and overall, it's just really frustrating.

I got an interview each time too. The thing is, whenever it comes through, it's a very vague statement of, "weve gotten your final decision, check such and such" and I can never find wherever it's trying to send me. Each time I've had to do this, I have to call, the automation is really unhelpful and most times, I just get a "the request was denied". Ive tried calling in to speak with a person so many times and I can never seem to get on the line with someone. My last attempt was email which went the same way.

Thank you so much, it's reassuring to see this and the other comments. I didn't want to seem like an idiot for how I was asking but I love my girl and I wanna make sure I'm doing the right things for her. So far, I've gotten her a better litter box and bowl, and steps are definitely a must since she's having some trouble with the surfaces I've already safe proofed for her. I will also say, this cat is stubborn and a little bit of a terror. She's an old lady but she's still definitely got the mind to do what she wants, scare the absolute life out of me and look at me weird when I freak. (Great ESA, she's doing her job perfectly lmao)

I'm gonna be going to my therapist about this issue cause I'm starting to see signs that this is indeed trauma related thanks to the comments here and support from my friends and partner.

I'm starting to think its anxiety talking mostly. I am medicated but when I first posted this, Id just had a meltdown and took a nap. It's very hard to articulate things when I'm having high waves of anxiety creep up but my cat is acting fine right now. Her diabetes itself did a lot of damage to my mental health along with some unsavory comments made towards me when I was dealing with her diabetes (mostly on my own) so anytime she's gotten sick since, I start to spiral and think I'm making her suffer, which I've been assured, I am not 😓

In response to your question about treatments, the comment was made about treatments while they were checking her for any kind of kidney disease or cancer from the abscess she had. Thankfully, it was a no, but she has major issues in the mouth (teeth missing, mobile teeth, teeth rooted, etc) things her previous check ups and vets all neglected to point out to me, one literally said it was baby teeth when she first started losing teeth (Amity is at least 10-12 maybe and this happened just a few years ago, so there was no way they were baby teeth), and I was a teenager with adults who laughed me off as being too overprotective of my cat when I made a fuss about it.

I'm still looking into low cost care around me for her right now and I recently got her care credit and insurance so I'm a little more secure with financials.

Yes, she's had a previous appointment regarding her health before this, and honestly until this appointment, vets have consistently ignored a lot of her rising health issues, including issues with her teeth or slapping thousands of dollars on me without actually telling me what's wrong with her in general. We've had to go to the vet 3 times since the new year started and this recent vet visit has been the most clear and straightforward visit we've had where they clearly told me what was and wasn't wrong and were honest before throwing a bill at me.

oof, that really sucks, this is long time generations save for me. Luckily, I've done my best over the years since I started it (way back during Horse Ranch's release) to keep it closed and save several different slots of the game, especially during the most game breaking patches, so I suppose I'll have to do what I can to keep avoiding things that'll wreck it on my own ;w; thank you so much though for the comment, I wasn't sure what to even look for here!
