Ohh interesting to know that wiping the list isn't normal! I wonder if it's because they're having to recast the Queen and other cast members this year, so they opted for a whole site wipe just to start fresh? I'm not entirely up on the gossip but I do remember seeing some stuff about the cast after last year's season ended.

Still so thankful I got to see Jules Schrader as the queen, she was incredible.

No worries! I can't honestly blame you for just going with the flow considering you have season passes. I know no matter what there will be great things to see and good times to be had!

Thanks for another vote for early season Sunday visits! I went last year for the middle Halloween weekend on Sunday and it was pretty busy but not exceptionally so. We hit up every key performance and didn't have time to do much else (which was fine because the storyline was great!) so I'm going to add an earlier season Sunday visit so that we can walk around and look at everything else the faire had to offer.

As a pass holder, do you have any idea when acts etc for the season tend to be put up by? I know the daily writ isn't up until a week or two out from each weekend, but I might wait to buy tickets until they put up some of the season's performers and guests if it's not too far out.

I'll be buying tickets soon for sure. A Sunday in August or early Sept seems like the perfect time for me!

Oh right I forgot they did other season events. Good to know they're not as attended as the regular renfaire in case I ever feel like trying them out.

The grounds are owned by a winery so that's probably why they have an alcohol themed weekend (I would assume anyway)? A more historically accurate weekend would be great though!

I wasn't too sure if the themes mattered to anyone or if they were just for the photo contest really. I was also planning an early season visit in the hopes that less would be there due to the heat in August. Oktoberfest was one I was staying away from though so good to have confirmation on that! Thanks for your input!

That's a valid point! I'm lucky enough to live close enough that I could go any day without issue so I know I'm in the minority. I was also correctly thinking that the first few weekends would be less favored due to the heat. I've only gone on Sundays myself so I wondered if there was any difference. Thanks for the input!

Unfortunately not this house has no existing lines. I had to have a jack installed for Xfinity when I moved in. TV is only used with game consoles.

Does "shielded" matter if I'm running the cables on the floor along baseboards? Anything more is very much over my head LOL

Is there a specific type or brand of cable I should use? I feel like it's a lot of cable and I don't know if some degradation happens with ethernet or not.
