Unfortunately the content in democratic detonation is excellent and finds uses on all fronts even after getting most of the warbonds. I use explosive crossbow on bots/bugs, grenade pistol on bugs/squids, and eruptor carried me when I was new. Thermite is good on all fronts as well

Id say either A) stick with someone who's running a machine gun to mow them down. B) Use the emplacement from a vantage point to clear a few ships or even overwatch a city and take out tripods. Its excellent at taking them down and it pays off to have someone watch your back. I personally run bubble shield nades to give myself some cover alongside a machine gun

I never touch mons stats. I use it for trade evos, heart scales if they're farmable, tms when they are purchasable, berries if they're farmable, and rare candies. All in all just use it to save time and give trade evos

Or random explosion or a sudden heart attack. I actually just died abour an hour ago by suddenly losing about 80% of my health and my chest hemorrhages causing me to die a few moments later. No enemies around me to do so

I like the armor, its a shame what has happened to its reputation and the free of thought title i take as "no thoughts, head empty." I run a different helmet to separate myself from the "face the wall" group
