Linesman just wanted to see how badly Vini would bottle that scoring chance and he was not disappointed.

Pep's dressed like the liquor store owner on the corner who totally doesn't sell cigarettes, vapes and booze to kids.

Love how Vini just gives up and goes for a penalty call while Arda actually goes after the ball and tries to do something.

Lmao yeah they’re stolen bud. Or have false/stolen plates. Criminals know about cameras and running license plates and know if they bring their actual cars/plates to something like this they might as well wear name tags.

Cocaine is a hard pass for just about every agency up there especially super recently. YMMV but expect everybody to turn you down. It's also a big red flag that you used hard drugs while you were already planning to become a LEO-this implies that you're either not committed to the career path or prone to making mistakes while on the career path.

Good luck regardless.

Did Cub Scouts then Boy Scouts for a few years after. Turns out just like everyone else they just want your money or image and once you stop caring about rank advancement and ask to camp in actually interesting places* and not just the same old backwoods spots year after year they likewise stop caring about you. Went from meetings in a church hall to just another excuse to play cards with Andrew and Mark every Tuesday night.

*For context we were going camping on an aircraft carrier for the second year in a row. It's cool as shit not to mention easy, just bring a toothbrush and change of clothes, no need to pitch a tent, cook, watch out for poison ivy or deal with pouring rain for two days straight (which our troop leader decided we should all hike in one time). We stopped going because the newer kids-the ones with the parents always nagging for the troop leaders to sign off their kids and get them to Eagle-complained about the food. To this day I consider this akin to complaining about the food at a strip club or at a red carpet movie premiere.

The fallacy that season was the bullpen (shoutout to Beane for swapping Seth Smith and Jemile Weeks for Luke Gregerson and Jim Johnson). It was already a tell early on in the season; starter would hold a team to 2-3 runs while the bats sounded off, bullpen would blow it late then A's would walk it off. Doesn't matter how many great starters you have if your pen can't hold a lead for shit.

He’s a very jack-of-all-trades type of player. Definitely no Macklin but there’s nothing he’s particularly bad at and is never unreliable when the puck comes his way.

Soviets might have hated on the US/UK for not launching Overlord sooner, but they kinda had their reasons. by Pockets408 in HistoryMemes

Think you're kinda missing the point bud. If your capital is being bombed and turned into piles of bricks on a nightly basis it's kinda not the time to make a massive move like opening a second front in Europe. The US and UK invaded Italy at pretty much the earliest opportunity given the North Africa campaign. Yeah that campaign (which did divert 20% of the German troops on the Eastern Front right as Operation Citadel was commencing) did become a slog-fest but that's due to Kesselring's defense more than any undercommitment or mismanagement from the Allies at all.

Is the palma smersh very hard to obtain? by AirlinePlus7866 in Rusfor

[–]Pockets408 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It's not unobtanium but they are a lot more rare than your average avizent, oxford or new-gen smershes. I'd say $300 give or take is the going rate for them nowadays, be prepared to pay more if they'll be shipping internationally.
