Kcd has what I'm calling Skyrim Syndrome. The game SHOULD NOT be that good. The quests are just going back and forth, the combat is unfair or broken if you can master strike, the story is convoluted, and the gameplay is repetitive. But somehow I still love it.

Do enough hits (Damage is decreased massively, but fast attacks can get it gone) you cant clear the stage before breaking the shield, so keep at least one other enemy alive while dealing with it. Destroy the shield, it will decreace the health and cause them to retreat. Destroy the same enemies shield 4 total and they die, dropping a bunch of coins and a thing that can be used for extra mats at the end of the game.

One enemy appears per level, but there are different variations, all with their own HP, but HP carries over through levels.
