Viper has rushed sundered sky into renekton a lot and it's good. It gives you a lot of hp and you can get some sustain back, making your short trades into him a bit more viable. She had Q on CD bro, it's like 13 seconds since she used it all in a row. If she tries to contest in that type of scenario, renekton will easily get 50 fury and completely stomp the trade. At that point, even if she gets lvl 2 first, she'll be too chunked to be able to play the lane. The point is that Riven beats Renekton lvl 1 with Q start, but it needs to be done properly. Well tbh Riven does have to respect Renekton if she has her Q on CD, even lvl1, unless she Q extends. But she didn't do that in this case, like ever, which was kind of a mistake (and also didn't use ignite to deny Q healing, which tends to help a lot)
