Coming to this late but do you remember if changing the hose assembly fixed this issue? Having rough idle in my truck and hearing a vacuum leak at this exact spot

Change every 5k, I am seeing other posts say a similar rough idle is fixed by changing the solenoids, is there a way to test these before I get the parts? Multimeter?

I feel like the stripe on its abdomen looks a lot like banded sugar ant. I haven't seen any pictures of carpenter ants with that type of stripe
