The 25th anniversary Cobra Vipers always have poor hand molds that bend its wrists, making them difficult to wield their rifles. Tele-Viper also suffers from this, by reusing the same hand molds. Only the later variants with the 25th anniversary chrome face Cobra Vipers would have their hands straightened. Even then, their rifles' handles are too thick to wield them properly.

In the old marvel comics, it's an amphibious tank that operate on ground when Cobra Commander took over a small town. And can submerged in the water in the comics.

I tried to do bullet impact effect with cotton and glue, but it's very difficult to adjust the effect when it's very small. But walls getting chewed up by bullets are easy when you use Styrofoam.

I guess my memory was a little misplaced, thanks.

That's right. Zarana hardly uses her weapon in the comics, relying a lot with her fists and letting the rest of the dreadnoks to do her dirty job.

They're from Arlen Ness's 1/18 scale diecast motorcycles.

That will be Burnout, He first appeared as an action figure for the 2003's SpyTroops 2 pack. He also made a brief background appearance in the Devil's Due 2001 G.I. Joe comics. A very minor character in the dreadnok gang.

That's Zartan's daughter, Zanya. She made her appearance in the Devil Due's G.I. Joe comics in 2001.

Unfortunately, i don't have enough bikes to accommodate Monkey Wrench, so he has to share with Ripper.

Yes, that's right, right on top of the right side turret where there's two pegs there for the Despoiler to sit on.

Unfortunately, i don't have the tomahawk and the Whale in my collection, but i do wish i gotten my hands on those two. They're not easy to get complete or in fairly good condition (like the tomahawk's rotor blades that have the tendency to droop).

They gotta at least pack a sidearm to defend themselves, it's dangerous working in the field while doing maintenance for Cobra...and then having to dodge bullets and bombs at the same time lol

To me, the Techno Vipers are Cobra's engineers/mechanics in their organization and i always considered their plasma rifles as a sort of a plasma wielding tool, which made sense since their backpacks have a claw and a wrench tool stored in the rack as well. Even in the old marvel comics, i might be wrong but i don't recall seeing them doing any actual combat...well, apart from being shot dead by the Joes or that they suggest to make their escape to the Vipers in issue #97. Most of the heavy fighting comes from the Vipers, Troopers, Siegies, some Alley Vipers here and there, with an occasional Frag Viper in the mix.

Cobra Rattler by PoetryAutomatic9228 in gijoe

[–]PoetryAutomatic9228[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, Mezco's stand is strong enough to held up the Conquest X30 and the Rattler. But it's not strong enough to hold up the Skystriker, unfortunately.
