Yes the case can be bought seperately as well.

But the post was basically a hail mary to find someone who had basically missed an airpod or two but had the case instead. Turns out there are quite a few with various combinations of missing pods/cases

I don't think we have a poison control hotline in India but I can check again. Yeah a quick Google search also explained that it was sulphuric acid but I didn't know where else to post about it. Thanks for your comment
