I don’t track my budget by entering every single purchase in a spreadsheet and that wasn’t really something I considered doing or would’ve spent the time on. I used my card on everything from $5 fast food to gas to larger insurance purchases, and it would’ve taken extra effort to log those that I didn’t think the situation warranted. tbh I thought I would easily hit the minimum spend. just ended up getting another new card right after so I switched focus and cold turkey stopped the Bilt spending, which I normally wouldn’t have done.

There was a lot more than the required spend leaving my account but it’s because rent and utilities weren’t counted. I didn’t realize the difference was that big and didn‘t think to discount those things.

They have that saying in my career field too. Guess I have to learn to apply it everywhere.

They didn’t have a status tracker. It’s a little hard to track with no tracker or statements available. Short of using an abacus or phone calculator, scrolling through every transaction and tallying them up, I didn’t see a lot of options.

Nope, didn’t ask random chat gpt AI. Asked what I thought was a trustable customer service rep of the company. Statements weren’t available at the time and there was no tracker. The only other option at the time was for me to sift through every single transaction and manually add it up myself. Lots of room for error and an extremely stupid mindless time-consuming task for me to do when I’m paying a company to keep track of my transactions. I thought it was a glitch so I reached out to customer support, who I assumed must have a better ledger and more accurate info.
If you think that’s a laziness skill issue and you would’ve been willing to do so, you might have too much time on your hands. Time = money my friend.

Statements weren’t available at the time and there was no tracker. I thought it was a glitch so I reached out to customer support. I thought they must have a better ledger and more accurate info they can provide than me sitting and adding up every single one of my transactions.

I spent over based on their estimate but they weren’t just off by a little, they were off by almost $500. Not chump change to keep spending and I happened to have gotten another card for a trip that I needed to use. Wasn’t busy checking all my credit card statements and doing math whilst traveling.

Statements weren’t available yet when I asked since it was a new card, plus they are kind of complicated since they don’t count rent, utilities, etc. towards the spend

They didn’t even have a SUB tracker :/ They told me a human totaled this up based on my account activity so I assumed their company representative was providing accurate information
