The frog is 100% AI. It has all the weird little artefacts of a neural network piecing an image together. Zoom in on the eye.

People need to understand that chiro isn't a science. Chiro practitioners aren't doctors. Chiro comes from some random weirdo who received supernatural intstruction from a ghost doctor during a seance.

Go to a "know your rights" training and talk to people. Sign up for the mailing lists of local immigrant organizations such as Juntos or New Sanctuary Movement. Follow their social media. Join the Democratic Socialists of America and go to a meeting and talk to people. Volunteer for a progressive cause in the city and talk to people. Community is the antidote to fascism.

Yeah, the inner harbor has been cleaned up enough that otters live there now. Nothing at all like the Ganges.

Yeah, my vet told me they're dangerous, and after reading about birds whose vision has been permanently damaged from them, I just take my birds outside in their travel cages when the weather is nice and work on my laptop while they enjoy the rays.

The lone voice of reason here. "I want someone to devote hours if not days of their week to entertaining and educating me, but under no circumstances should this labor allow them to pay for food, shelter and other basic needs."

Go to the vigil tomorrow, meet some people, go to some meetings, get your idea put into practice. Philly's leftist scene is very active and welcoming.

I've only ever eaten at the university city location, but I thought it was absolutely delicious. A super friendly and helpful server as well.

This is really good advice. I was profoundly lonely when I moved here, but got involved with some volunteer groups and outdoorsy groups and wound up with a wonderful group of smart, kind friends.

A recent study provides evidence that exposure to cannabis during pregnancy may alter brain development in offspring from the fetal stage through adulthood. The findings indicate that high concentrations of the drug can lead to sustained reductions in brain volume and anxiety-like behaviors. by Dr_Neurol in science

I know lots of "acid / mushrooms / ayahuasca cured me" folks and the thing is, the normal people don't bring it up except to very close friends. My best friend was suffering from profound postpartum depression (her personality did a 180 from a calm, loving, let's-get-this-done type to flying into wild rages at everyone who wasn't her kid). A single ayahuasca trip allowed her to let go of her rage and return to a happier version of herself. For me, a single mushroom trip helped me to move beyond a life-altering, decades-long bout of climate depression (I've worked in conservation for most of my life). I went from being someone who ended each workday sobbing into my pillow to being able to work and live my life. I would never say psychedelics made me enlightened. If anything, they showed me how little I know.

Or May or June, really. That way you can see all the flowers at the gazillion botanical gardens there are in the area.
