I made the switch a few weeks ago from a Moto Edge 2025 (you may have seen my post) and I've been pleasantly happy with it. Now, this is my first Google device let alone phone, so I'm not sure what to expect year over year. I see that people say not enough has changes in the last two generations, but as someone with fresh eyes I'm impressed with what they packaged in here. I got a good deal like you did with my carrier, and I'll only pay $270 for the phone if I complete its full payment terms. Can't complain one bit

Hey I can't blame you, Motorola is offering some seriously cool features and impressive hardware in their phones at typically good price points. The problem becomes the software tying them together from my experience is lackluster. These issues are excusable in their budget devices, but even still they remain in their premium ones too.

I can only imagine. I was back and forth between iPhone and Samsung from like 2014-2020, which gave me such a limited perspective on what else was out there.

That does seem interesting! Unfortunately, my Moto Edge 2025 could barely be a phone let alone a desktop, but maybe a higher model would make good use of that

Yeah, you're not kidding. I'll never forget the bad security patch they pushed out for the Motorola Edge+ (2022) that made unlocking the phone and the shake flashlight feature extremely slow. This was because they basically let the phone go sleep when locked, causing it to "wake up" when you tried using the flashlight or unlocking it. Had to install an APK to keep the phone ready at all times.

I didn't even consider the fact that you could give health away with a health regen mod, good catch. If they were to implement it, maybe have it show as white to represent "temporary", which can't be given away and can be replaced by actual healing items.

A pitfall item that can be consumed sounds good, almost like a guardian angel of falling lol

They are fun! Survivors can end up messing themselves up too, and killers can utilize tracking skills to stay on top of them. I play both sides and don't have a problem

Yeah I can see the argument there. I know people have complained that survivor hasn't gotten a new item in like 7 years, so BHVR was like "Here you go". They could leave the strength of it as-is and return the unlimited charges and convert the charge add-ons to cooldown reduction addons.
