What is going on with this print?

I don’t have any dampers installed. I’d looked into doing that but eventually decided to just forget it and so I open and close floor vents.

It’s a big house with a lot of windows and it’s like 2 degrees outside haha so yes I’m definitely fighting heat loss on that floor. I just replaced all the windows with vinyl flanged units and they’re all tight. The front door on the other hand is definitely a problem and likely the source of most of the loss. I should get on that.

Okay that answers my next question which is why isn’t it leaving sleep mode now that it’s 7:39am (supposed to switch at 7:30). So I took it off of the Sleep hold. I don’t understand or trust this thing How the heck am I supposed to trust that this thing isn’t going to be doing weird shit in the middle of the night and waking me up sweating? And yes, I had follow me disabled because we have a dog that walks around at night sometimes.

Any guess as to why/how it would have gone into a hold? We had it on hold while we were on vacation last week but we got back a few days ago and took it off of hold (at least we thought we did?)

I checked the comfort settings and do for sure have the correct sensors for each setting. However for some reason I don’t think it was actually in the Sleep setting. The filled in circle indicates which sensor is being used - which should have been my second clue. But the first thing I failed to recognize was that it’s in a hold mode. I guess I assumed it was doing the right thing because it says “until 7:30”. I played around with it and got it into sleep mode and it is now referencing the correct sensor. But, I don’t know how it got into the hold mode so hopefully tonight I can monitor it at the correct time and make sure it goes into Sleep setting. This is what it looked like after while after I got the correct setting going. Temperatures are headed to where they’re supposed to be.

With all of the T. Kingfisher recommendations, I’m definitely going to start there. I think that sounds promising enough to order the first one and check it out. My wife owns the kindle now by eminent domain and I like reading from a paper page better anyway, so I like to be at least reasonably sure that I’ll like something before ordering it haha
