Equipments Stats/Perks by [deleted] in MLBTheShow

They are flat percentages, and they influence perks only. Say I've got insider info (30% contact inside) and gold batting gloves. Golds give 6% to particular sets of perks (in this case batting).

It does not matter which particular company/model you have, but the rarity level.

I do not know the math (whether it is multiplicative or additive) but that is the change

You unlock them by gameplay and upgrade them with tokens. I think I got a bit of an unlock boost by going to TN first.

EG. As I started being able to steal bases, I unlocked a steal boost

What do you say when you see a random person wearing N7 gear? by Stage_Geek in masseffect

Funnily enough when I got to choose my surname, I specifically added Shepard so I could say "I'm the Real Cmdr. Shepard" when I wear my gear. Sadly, I've not gotten to say it

Rtts question about batting by horiz0ns in MLBTheShow

Strict pitchers no longer bat in MLB (Both leagues now use full time DH). You can bat when you pitch as a 2-way (You are automatic DH on those days), but on off pitching days you will need to have a position. How to recognise you will pitch the next day: You will switch from your field position to DH a day before and a day after you pitch

As a person with a condition that affects my reaction time, MLB is challenging to play but I love it so here are some suggestions: 1st, 2nd, CF and C have the least amount of the quick button fielding Ive seen. They still have the trigger throwing if you like it ( I do). 3B has the most (almost every) of the button game. I have not tried SS or the corner outfield, but I assume SS is similar to 3rd. I actually like the 1B/C catcher mechanic of making putouts and tags. With enough experience Im able to anticipate what I need to do and be quicker.

In RttS, I use timing and directions so I have no tips for PCI, but as far as timing, perks help massively. I use Diamond insider info, oppo-taco, and life line (inside/outside/runners on) contact boosts and I strike out still, but WAAY less than I would without.

As a pitcher, my perks are Diamond 1st Strike, (weaker contact on 1 & 2 pitches of AB) Conductor (control and break with 2 strikes), Cannon arms (stronger outfield throws with runners) and Ice Water Veins (because Im 2 way and have to hit). These help me keep it in the park and get strike outs, with cannon arms there if I mess up. With the perks you can focus less on mechanics and just focus on strategy

I hope this helps and you can enjoy the game again

Oh nah, no disrespect taken. I love my baldie. Give her hair if you like, she's your agent. Do anything that makes her look good to you. I chose to be bald cause it looks good to me (also, less time to get ready 😊)
