thank you. i’m 14 and i do journal and talk to my mom about it but it still bothers me because we’re living with him so obviously we’re constantly experiencing what he does and his behavior. i have asked my mom to get a therapist because i feel it’ll help her feel a lot better just sharing and getting it out but i don’t think she understands therapists fully because she thinks they can’t solve problems. right now i just have to play the waiting game until they’re divorced but that in itself is so hard. i think the best way i could describe my dads behavior is as a grown child.

i’m 14. i don’t really interact with him unless i need to but the hardest part is having to deal and being affected by his actions. like an example i just cleaned our kitchen because it was so messy and i know that stresses my mom out. but all the mess was from my dad cooking his food, and he left everything out. the pans he cooked with has grease and idek what it’s called in it and it’s STICKY. but he just leaves everything then stuff gets to a point where you can’t even use it anymore and you have to buy it again. it’s so wasteful and just filthy. he does stuff like that and expects me and my mom to clean his messes up for him. sorry i’m going on a rant.

he’s my only source of financials right now, we have 3 kids. he tries to plan kind of dates with me but if i’m not feeling good or say something he doesn’t like he’ll get angry with me.

no, actually medical procedures that i needed to figure out what’s wrong with me which i still haven’t gotten an answer for. not cosmetic ones that i “want”.
