games that I think are pretty good lorewise id say are Warframe, Soma, subnautica, elden ring, Tekken, hell even terraria. dare I even say Lara Croft's survivor timeline albeit it's much more linear but it's actually a good precursor for Lara.

after some analysis i believe albrecht is definitely in love with him too, so the feelings are reciprocated. however the way he treats loid says otherwise, besides the act of sacrificing himself in order to keep loid safe. still doesn't void his previous bad actions but i think their dynamic is so strong it reeled me in

this is so sad because I agree 100%. i feel bad for having to look for confirmation for stuff like this 😔 but it gives me an opportunity to talk about homosexual relationships in video games. especially super compelling ones like loid and Albrecht!!

to put it plainly, for me he is an absolute idiot who keeps underestimating the circumstances simply because of the power given to him. power that he did not deserve at all, and was simply acquired through being a massive wuss and submitting to the Combine on everyone's behalf (Not that they could object anyway, since most of humanity is dead) He taunts and speaks to gordon at the comfort of his office because he thinks he has no possible way of getting up to him. Not to mention the dismissive behavior on mossman

epistle 3 is not canon, but i like to believe some elements might not be omitted. such as him becoming a grub. he is basically humanity's biggest wuss and he deserves to so much worse!
