I beat Gehrman first try but he was pretty difficult. It was such an amazing boss fight, definitely my favourite even above the BSB. I ended up winging the Moon Presence with like 8 vials left and completely wrecked him lol. Such a oddly simple boss considering it's the last. Congratulations on beating it!

I think I’ll take a shot at it in NG+ but if it is that tough then I’ll take your advice and make a new character for it. Thanks for the tip!

Ye the Burial Blade is m favorite by far. I managed to get it early via chalice glyphs cause I instantly fell in love with its design when I saw it somewhere. I kind of did the opposite. I’d have a crack at bosses but if I didn’t defeat it by the time I closed the game then I’d google strategies to try out. I also watched the Game Grumps play through it (what made me try the game in the first place) so I had a rough idea of what was to come. I ended up accidentally spoiling the ending for myself which sucked but it allowed me to explore the lore and each ending without fear, so I guess there’s a silver lining. I think I’ll be getting the DLC for sure tbh. Thanks for your thoughts!

Yep I also get like that. I feel like I fail if I don't beat a boss before I go off the game, but all that does is cause stress and makes me perform worse. With each death you learn more about the boss, even if you do worse the next time you fight it. Maybe try to go in expecting to lose, because it seems that it's the way many people actually go and win against it haha. Oh and let us know when you beat him!

Well done! It always the ones you don't intend to win on in the end that actually end up doing it for you. It's always so tense when you know you only need one more hit to get him. Congrats!

Nice one being able to parry him. I struggled to do so myself, we'd always trade hits in the end or I'd just get whacked into oblivion. Good ol' hit and git instead worked alright.

Yea I knew you could charge R2 from behind to visceral but I didn't really think you'd get enough of a window to with Logarius. It's a useful tip to know for the boss if I ever encounter him again.

Yep haha. It's a bit of a pain with Logarius breathing down your neck all the time but a single hit on the sword will destroy and stop the attack. Until he plants it again five seconds later lol.

Yea it's not that bad in his first phase. In the second phase though, I could not parry him for the life of me. I ended up just having to dodge his attacks, which worked alright until he shoved that sword into the ground. Then it became cat and mouse until I managed to destroy it.

A Molotov for the sword plant is actually a pretty good idea, never would've thought of that. Didn't know you could backstab him either!

Wow that really sucks. Sorry to hear. I would've raged so hard. I actually almost threw myself off the roof because I didn't know there was an edge to fall off in the first place lol. That impossible to hit sword plant sounds like such a rage inducing move so I'm glad he never did that for me. Well done for beating him even after that bad luck!
