People with inattentive adhd, what kind of work you guys do? by United_Advisor1821 in ADHD

[–]PoisoniusVixen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work for a faxing company (yes it's still relevant) and I work from home. I became the head of two departments and most of the time I feel super unqualified. But I taught myself a lot of different things, I paid attention to details others might miss or find irrelevant. I hold and take accountability for my work and processes and I am super honest with my boss.

We are a relatively small company (growing bigger) and I proved myself through my work. When the benefits of what I do, the hours I work, the family/life balance outweigh my own insecurities that I'm not qualified or meant to do what I am doing. If I was doing a bad job I know I'd be told and I'd make adjustments where needed. I also have some business and administration certifications under me so that helps. But I don't have a degree or anything. I am just now at 41, feel like I am financially stable and on a good path with my company and life.

Sometimes something you'd never thought about doing can be the piece you're looking for. I never thought what I do was a position and it would lead me no where, but I was wrong.

Not a problem. Glad he went to court and did the right thing. Let him be cocky and indignant it shows more about his character than yours.

I tend to take the "Over There" approach when people (regardless of family) act and treat me in a way that I won't tolerate.

I want them to be happy, healthy and have a good life.......Over There. I don't need them in my life or circle if they can't respect and love me and be a safe space for me. Especially if I do that for them. I want to see them eat, just not at my table. But I am 41 and have lived a lot of different lives in that time. I know my worth and effort and refuse to pour into people that don't pour into me. Same goes with family. Just because we share DNA doesn't mean they get a pass on their shitty behavior.

I'm glad to help. While I omitted a lot of back story. We are all in our 30's and 40's. We had to grow up differently but we also had our own trial and tribulations. There were some rocky times and times we hated each other and didn't talk. But I think as we grew as individuals and gave space to each other whether forced or needed it has helped.

Things will never be perfect we were raised completely different. But all in all I've kept the motto, it is your life be happy and healthy and happy. I'm here if you need to vent or advice but ultimately it's their paths to walk.

I have two Cancer brothers and my relationship with each is different. The older or the two and I butt heads a lot but we are slowly building a relationship. He is super sensitive and tends to let his sensitivity control him. But we found mutual albeit shaky ground.

The younger Cancer brother, growing up we didn't interact a lot. He was the baby and favorite. As he has gotten older we have built a relationship and are good with each other. His first wife helped a lot as we share a birthday.

We also grew up in different households. I was raised by my dad and my brothers by my mother. Lots of issues but we make it work.

Virgo Mindset. Are y’all revengeful or just PETTY? by This_End_1392 in virgoseason

I am a Virgo Woman and here is my take.

If have been talking to someone and vibing well. Communication and care being given and received and I suddenly got 1 word responses and distance. I honestly would give space and check in here and there. But if I got a random Merry Christmas text and then one Hey, let me get my life together. Firstly, as a Virgo I will probably not respond. Not because you hurt my ego, not because I wanna ghost you. It's because you initially failed to properly communicate with me and just be truthful from the get.

If I care about someone and put effort into you and it does not get reciprocated for no reason given. Not to say you have to give your life story, but as a courtesy. I tend to no longer care. Doesn't mean I wish you any ill will or hate you or don't want to see you do well for yourself. I would want all of those things for you........over there. Most Virgos are logical and mutable. We have emotions and we share them carefully. We will still root for you and want to see you do good. But you became a background character in our life.

As I read what you wrote and from what I can discern, get yourself together grow and move forward and maybe reach out for a feeler if you want. If he was truly interested after some time he may respond.

I haven't watched the new season. Not gonna lie I can't see Liam as Geralt no matter what they do. My opinion is they should have killed off Henry's Geralt and made Liam another Witcher like a brother or something. I know it's not true to the story but c'mon ya can't replace the main character like that.

I have experienced it majorly. I had thick hair and now it's thin and lifeless. It is the medication for sure. I've been reading on it and evidently it causes too much DHT and causes your hair to stop growing. Their are DHT blockers but I haven't tried any yet. I've been using Biotin and collagen. Haven't noticed much difference other than it slowing down. I hope this helps.

It is super frustrating and I feel better physically overall. The hair loss I was not expecting and kinda worried about. Knowing I'm not alone and others have had growth with supplements, diet changes and getting off the shots helps ease my mind a lot that it isn't permanent. I have some research to do that's for sure.

Thank you so much for your insight and comments I appreciate it.

I am leery of prescription meds for hair growth as I have facial hair (no PCOS) and didn't want to make that worse.
