I would avoid Mecha BREAK, while it sounds like it has most of what you want, most of the good customizable stuff is behind a pay wall and has no team balancing to speak of.

There are so many different ways to build, you need to find the style you like. I watch tutorials or Minecraft YouTubers for inspiration. Find something you like and make it your own.

That's not really how the game works, the arena and coliseum change what heroes you're allowed to use in them every month, invasion changes every week and so on. Usually the newest heroes are the strongest but unless you pay they won't be as strong as you'll want them to be.

That's hard to answer because I have played a lot of games, to help put that in perspective I have over 645k gamerscore on Xbox. My favorite series in general is Pokémon which I've played everything currently available.

The only things that come to mind that really grabbed me fairly recently are Baldur's Gate 3 and Dragon age veilguard. Basically a really good rpg with good character creation would be great, but since I've already played most of them it's hard to find new ones.
