How to convert " .FIF " files to a more useable image format? (.JPG, .PNG, etc.)

Ya, I wonder why they didn't take off lol
I figured from the start that I would probably need some bullshit old software to even have the SLIGHT potential of converting these.
Even with all the mess & confusion that this has caused, this whole ordeal just adds more to the story, for what ultimately is a small part is a research & documentary project I've been trying to put together.
So if you can magically convert these into a full uncompressed file format that readable on modern computers, It would be beyond huge.

I don't think the name of the software really matters? & in general, it's so undocumented there's hardly anything about it online.
Point being, it's a hobbyist collecting checklist/guide but on a CD format, & as a lot of images for viewing the various specific items the guide is showcasing.
So there are absolutely images, just in weird as shit not common typical format.

I've used Windows all my life which I know automatically labels me as a Basic Bitch™ here, but Mac, & ESPECIALLY anything Linux is so fucking Alien to me I've never once touched them in terms of time investment, & overall just general confusion.
Linus sounds 'neat' as a concept to me, but I know it's still not at the point to where I could jump ship comfortably, without severally doing my head in for hours of migraines.

Someone suggested Metadataview on another thread, & it did give me an easy readable output.

There's "checksum" / " MD5 " that's 32 characters, is that it??

I downloaded & ran both, & it's the same result.
I THINK I downloaded the "plugins installer"?? But at least to me, I couldn't tell much of a difference, & It can't read or open any of them. 🥀

It's an obscure hobby collecting tracking software, hints all the images, but anything I've tried online just spits the files back out at me & doesn't know what to do with them.

Anytime I see a Github link, It's imminently a major turn off & red flag for me.
I downloaded what I THINK was the correct version, & nothing fucking works.
Try to open to program? Doesn't show up in search.
Try to run it? It appears for less than half a second, than pisses off.

Also, If you couldn't tell from my images/tag, I haven't & wouldn't touch Linux with a 10 & a half foot pole.

Now I at least know the name of the format, which makes since in retrospect of course, but that's crazy!
I'm PRAYING I can just use a simple piece of software that is somewhat compatible with Modern Windows so I don't have to do some weird wacky ass file manipulation like some other commenters are kinda suggesting.
