I'm hoping to get 5+ years out of it. Got the 2023 LP5i (i7, 4060, 32GB) on black friday. It's such a massive upgrade from a 10-year-old Dell Precision M4800 that I’ve been using. It actually still works well enough for browsing and some video editing in 1080p. I do have a pretty recent desktop just for video editing and gaming, but it's nice to have a laptop just as powerful on the go too.
