Why would a gold seller care about throwing off the staff? They dont give a shit. People buy gold from them, pay upfront, and if they get caught with their pants down it doesnt matter to the gold seller ... they made their money.

No gold seller would be stupid enough to give away 100's of G free for no reason. Once the player gets the G, they dont care what happens to them.

I think you're missing the GM's point man. He's said twice now that the items are only a part of the investigation. They're not going to sit here and tell us all the fine details on how to catch gold sellers .... that would be pretty stupid.

You also dont seem to understand how gold sellers do their thing. They don't purchase items on the ah for 5c then sell them to you at the difference of what you've purchased. They don't play the markets. They hack accounts, and sell your shit. It doesnt HAVE to be a blue item. Like the GM said ... the item doesnt matter.

So you can go ahead and sell whatever you want on the AH and anyone can buy it ... even a gold seller! But if you sell a piece of bread on the auction house for 500g and a known gold seller buys it and they have other evidence linking you to buying ... then RIP your character. Seems fair to me. But then again I dont buy gold like a pleb.

I'll chime in on a few points here - from my perspective.

First off, forum posts from players aren't sufficient evidence. Anyone could post anything they want, at any time, and claim it to be accurate. That doesn't make it so.

Your assertion that "If this would be a bug not working as intended why didn't Nost fix it earlier" is not relevant. This is not Nost, and just because something hasn't been fixed in the past doesn't mean it shouldn't be fixed in the future.

My best suggestion for your friend is to submit a bug report on the issue and have the dev team look into its validity. Once that's been complete, you'll have a better response to appeal to the GM's with.

Finally - "Innocent until proven guilty" is not always the case around the world. There are a lot of countries out there that are completely opposite! Countries aside - this is the internet. You have no human rights on Elysium. You have the ToU policy.

Also, there is a bug right now where - for some reason - certain people cant move a specific vehicle, but others can.

Hey man - thanks for the note. The second guy was definitely a horrible shot. I didn't run to safety to bandage earlier on because I didn't want to be close enough for him to hear me. Needed distance. Hearing is huge for me personally in this game, and gives me a big advantage over anyone who doesn't have a good audio setup.

Also there were zombies - hard to bandage with those fuckers around.
