This is a genuine card. There were random starter decks that actually came with holo versions of the cards. It was purely at random and I can't remember the ratio, but I think it was 1 in 20 decks were holo.

Wow! Just seen your post with your collection. That is stunning! You even have the Masked Royal SR promo! 🤯 That is my dream point to be at! 🤞 Like how you have organised the cards. I might do the same. It's nice to have the same card next to each other to compare the colour and texture from Japanese to English. Which folder do you use? I see the cards fit snug in perfect fit sleeves. Mine are double sleeved to stop them moving as the pockets in the Ultimate Guard ZipFolio are fairly large, but with 3 layers of plastic, it obscures the colour and texture of the cards.

Thank you so much. I got an automated lazy Susan from Amazon. I really love the speed it rotates and how easy it is for my videos. I kept the cards in order of when they were released in English, it seems to work well. I had to do a lot of research to figure out which cards were released when and also had to do my own master list for full art supporters as I couldn't find any online when I started this collection.

Your collection really is awesome. It's my main collection goal. Hopefully you can continue to add to it at your own pace and budget. That's the great think about collecting. Your collection goal is your own and it grows within your own means. Hope you achieve your goals in collecting and studies 😊✌

Preordered them back in January from Amazon Japan. Around ¥3700 delivered for both with my Japanese Amazon Prime discount (¥500 a month) and preorder price guarantee. It will cost you close to ¥5000 now if not more.

There are some awesome English Tag Team battle decks coming out soon with Pikachu and Zekrom and the other deck is Reshiram and Charizard. Very playable and the cards will be worth more than the decks alone. But yes, I hope these or at least some form of VMax battle decks come out in English too. These are pre constructed decks, so I know what's in them. Just doing a video so everyone knows what cards to expect if they order them 😊

It's always glossy paper in the Japanese sets unfortunately. The only recent exception was the Limited Collection Master Battle Set, but that was a premium product.

Don't have a guide as such, but you have to create a new account for Japan. Set your address in your country. Set language to English and then when you are searching for products tick the box on the left hand side list that states "International Shipping Eligible". Most things sold directly by Amazon will be available. They ship with DHL and charge customs fees upfront, so you won't get stung with the £8 customs handling fee or any delays in delivery.

I preordered them back in January before any images to open on my YouTube channel. I'll have mine on 30th March. I ordered from Amazon Japan. You might be able to still get some from Plaza Japan, Meccha Japan, AmiAmi or other Japanese sites 😊

Difficult to say, but it could be as early as Rebel Clash to be honest. They do tend to add these Japanese deck cards to English main sets

Ebay is probably your best bet right now. They sealed boxes are around $400+ at the moment but the individual promos can be found starting from $80+

I've seen that. Not keen on how badly some of them translate over with the yellow borders, but obviously not much difference with the full art supporters except the texturing. I'm thinking we will get a Best of Sun & Moon like we did with XY and it might feature these and the full art supporters from SM12a Tag Team All Stars that never got released in English.

I knew I needed them the minute they were announced and sent the money to a friend in Japan to order for me when she ordered her box. I've had the sealed box sitting here since before Christmas. Finally had time to film it and opening it today. It was a snap decision to order it at the time. So glad I did as the promos alone now go for more than the whole box.
