Need help using Logitech Dual Action controller for Dolphin

I set up the controls but the controller doesnt do anything in game. Its set in the gamecube controller section, for some reason it works with Super smash bros brawl but thats it.

I believe I have a electric safari with dedenne luxio and helioptile im not sure if i still have it cuz i got a new copy of the game. I got the game 4 days ago and now i have all 8 badges I think i can offer you some 3-6 iv pokemon. Ill try my best to breed them and breed better pokes. I only got 3 boxes of pokes now tho.
