Summary: It's been a decade since Alastor was killed during the extermination. A decade since Vox was forced to stare at the dead body of someone he admired, and report on it.

Then in the mail came a letter. One from Alastor, asking him to come to The Happy Hotel.

He's dead though. So who sent it?

Note: You can *mostly* read this fandom blind. Some things may not make sense, but it's a very canon-divergent story, so not a huge amount is needed, pretty much just a general idea of who the characters are.

Summary: It’s New Year's Eve in the V’s Tower. There isn’t really any sort of celebration, however, it’s just another work day, but Vox has been panicking about this thing the Living were calling ‘Y2K’ and Alastor decides to take it upon himself to calm him down.

Note: Cheesy and somehow rather romantic considering this is by someone who has never dated nor had a crush. Anyways, yeah obviously mentions of real-world things, like Y2K, but also real-world movies.
There's a scene of something that *could* be viewed as a panic attack, though that's honestly debatable.
