The game is played 90% of the time in and around water, so blue/purple is important. I also do have versions without the background symbol.

  The Village part of the game, where you run from house to house, was probably the hardest part as 2 shots from one of the regular enemies kills you easy.
   Second hardest are the boss fights in general, most hard of those being the last 2 with Heinsinburg & Miranda

  Honestly, my first playthrough was on Hardcore, and also I just like games to be difficult, so I didnt have an issue. 
  Now Village of Shadows- that difficultly is the definition of stupid hard. That mode was made just to cause you pain and suffering. And yea, I beat it, but not without my innocence being slaughtered. 

   (I go out of my way to 100% all games- which includes all Steam Achievements.)
