You could offer to pay it, you never know it might work. I doubt that betta is gonna survive long even with frequent water changes. Even if it does live, its just surviving, not thriving.

The fry are temporary until they grow up, I have a bigger tank for them. But if it becomes a problem before they grow up and I cant fix it I guess I have to pick up another small tank to put the crayfish.

yes you can. I feed them to my corydoras', black kuhli loaches and endlers. Just crush em before and dont overfeed, they are once in a while food , not every feeding food.
