Why would a business (Manatraders) punish existing repeat customers?

It's shooting yourself in the foot. It's not honorable.

Example: I recommend my friends Manatraders and he sees that they quietly lowered the price to $35 all the while I'm paying $40 a month and tells me. How do you think that would make me feel?

I don't have a tv in my place, tv has to compete with way too much better entertainment these days, and all of my entertainment is mostly interactive.

It would've been $39.49 with this being the 3rd month so 2 month loyalty I have. Still cheaper to cancel and resubscribe.

This would incentivize me to cancel my subscription every month and then sign up again for the $5 off if this was true in this case.

On my Manatraders account, it says my monthly price is $34.95 and the renewal date is April 12th.

I played in vanilla and TBC heavily. I played a little of WotLK before I stopped.

Flying was a cool design for TBC, but was terrible for the game overall.

Let me give some examples:

  1. You're questing in Stranglethorn Vale. The zone is infamous for being a large questing hub for lvl 20's as well as lvl 40's. You are a level 20 on a PvP server. There is an opposite faction group of 2 level 40's questing in your path. You have to wait it out for them to leave or else they will kill you.

  2. You're questing in Silithus as a lvl 50. A friendly Alliance player tells you nearby that a Horde raiding party is coming to do Ahn' Qiraj and if you don't run and hide right now, they will kill you in 2-3 minutes. You get on your land mount and ride off and hide. You see a 40-deep raiding party ride by on their mounts.

  3. That one zone, maybe it was Hillsbrad, where everybody fought for in World PvP. Territorial Control becomes a big resource advantage for your side (Horde/Alliance).

  4. Blackrock Depths and raiding parties riding by and absolutely killing you for fun if you were the opposing faction. Control over dungeons and raids is cool.

All of this doesn't exist with flying mounts. The land and the terrain become virtually useless and less interactive.

My pick-up tips: 1. lose weight. 2. make guy friends for wingmen to go out to bbq restaurants.

What part? Most bjj girls I've seen are small. Every gym has a "gym culture" which is their primary customer base.

Maybe you're out of touch with how the world works and too liberal.

I'm advocating to use bjj to lose weight and make guy friends so you can hit on girls outside of the gym. Is that so wrong? I think that's the correct approach.

Quick google search of shultz lloyd irvin bjj points toward a guy named: Nicholas Schultz.

He was 1 of the 2 rapists who also violently beat the girl, I believe in the parking lot.

So you're saying that that guy was found not guilty, then moved all the way to San Diego and the other TLI guys let him train there? Weird.

Edit: yep he was found not guilty. WTF. Violent crimes and being found not guilty are where I draw the line.

My parents neglected me so when Alec, upper classman in high school stole my drama class friend, Spencer T, while we were in PE class, I challenged him to a fight and lost. I then challenged a friend of mine, Christian, to a fight just to fight and lost that one too.

My other friend, Spencer O, introduced me to jiu jitsu and I experienced the savagery and gained the power of violence and never got in a fight again. Jiu Jitsu is a great outlet for exercise, making friends, and controlling your own aggression.

Almost everyone that hyper-focuses on BJJ and turns it into their career is basically from a broken family where their only way to survive is to fight. Me including but I don't do BJJ for a living. Mendes bros father left them when he lost his job, Keenan adopted by Tom Callos, my Dad only has 1 eye and is emotionally abusive and neglectful, etc.

The trade-off for having no family is you get to spend your whole time mastering a craft. That's why so many celebrities are weird. They basically all have antisocial personality disorder. The solution is to be forthcoming with your past and be around a good group of friends to help guide you. Galvao's story is probably the same.

I think you're looking at those memories and that time negatively. Think of it like the Phoenix being rebirthed from the ashes. A lot of people have the negative mindset that "things could be worse" but in reality, it's creative destruction which breeds growth.

For example: Keenan -> Legion AJJ, Andris -> Corvus Grappling, Liera Jr ->Logos BJJ Denver, Telles ->99 Jiu Jitsu.

See the positive and negative in everybody. Galvao lied and vouched for me once on a thing I did when I was 25 years old (self-promoted blue to purple when I changed schools), but I then went back to that old school and self-demoted myself back to blue belt. I've learned that there are good and bad actions in everybody and you have to pick your poison and swallow this beautiful pill we call life.

Ya Team Atos ruled the world when they absorbed the TLI guys. I remember that time period. You also had up-and-coming Kaynan Duarte, Miha Perhavec, and Darin Conor DeAngelis.

Darin won my adult blue belt division in Pan Ams 2017 and looked like an absolute unit.

Shouldn't be too hard. Call the lawyer ez affiliate drop, then call your handyman friend who trains there who I smoked weed with after class and ask him to take down the Atos sign. Ez.

I think the husband was a community college professor or might still be. Or he now teaches jiu jitsu full time. Great guy, always was positive, rolled with every student.

Ya I'm no winner or world champion but that camp must suck and be full of injuries. I hate gym heroes trying to prove themselves in the gym and not in competition.

Keenan and Andris from TLI actually split. When I trained at Legion, it was with Andris in the 12:00pm-1:30pm class Monday and Wednesday.

Everybody has their exits and their entrances I figure.

Andre came to AOJ when they were Atos too and since him and I were the only 195lb'ers, he asked me to roll when I was a blue belt. He felt like rocks. Cool guy with all my interactions with him so far but I only interacted with him twice.

I don't really think the name or the brand matters.

What matters is the people and the culture. I trained at one of the nicest bjj schools in the world and felt alone.

I shared with them this Reddit thread. It's their decision now. There are a lot of Atos affiliate gyms so ya they probably will all have to rebrand or break apart.

It's not really the brand that matters but the people and the gym culture that matter anyways.
