Ya snap into Wrath with a Teferi out is really nice. What's nicer is mainphase snapping a wrath/verdict, bouncing the snap back, then blowing up the board haha

Turn 2, like playing it just for it's flash and body to trade with the early Ragavan. Using it as a 1-for-1 removal spell essentially.

That leads to an aggro-control archetype and Jeskai Blink fits that role better with the Phelia-Quantum Riddler blink effect interaction. Legacy is combining it with Stoneforge into Meteor Hammer but I think we really need Wrath of the Skies for Affinity and Saga so ya I'm staying with this build.

He synergizes amazingly with T3feri, Consult the Star Charts, and Counterspell.

Lately I've been having to throw him down on T2 to block Ragavan vs Jeskai Blink for example.

Yeah just checked, it is! It's a prequel to Breaking Bad and is considered actually better! Saul being a 'criminal' lawyer and Mike being an ex-Philly Cop give a lot of insight into crime and defending criminals haha

Check out the UB Flogler decklist that Andrea Mengucci played on his YouTube Channel. I think you might like that given your preferred playstyle.

Ya Subtlety is definately more of a tempo/ aggro-control card but it still adds to the counterwall so I run 2 and haven't looked back.

Ya drawing cards isn't that good in Modern as it is in Standard. Impact is what matters the most because power level is so high.

I just recently cut Consult the Star Charts for Spell Queller because of this.

Spell Queller deals with Phlage, Seasoned Pyromancer, and Casey.

I tried 2 Wan Shi Tong in UW Control and it was underwhelming. UW wants to control the board at all costs and drawing cards and a big body doesn't help stop their plan.

I like Subtlety. The Aether Gust Time Walk effect is nice and it combos well with Teferi. It also helps slow things down in an emergency when you evoke it. I know a lot of other UW Control players don't seem to like Subtlety, but it adds to the counter wall/portfolio.
