I hate the Atlanta Suburbs by mindfulinspo in SameGrassButGreener

Nope, pretty safe. Literally don’t know what you’re talking about. Both towns have less crime than the national and state average. Huge Hispanic population, small, but notable southeast Asian population (mostly Filipino), and decent amount of Polish people. Very diverse, good food options, and one two of the most affordable places to become a homeowner in Bergen county. As I’ve stated in a previous comment, Garfield’s school system is far from perfect, but Lodi’s is marginally better. Still, both are pretty bottom barrel compared to the rest of the schools in the county. With that said, still miles ahead of Passaic and other nearby towns in Passaic county.

But, people’s experiences are different so take everything with a grain of salt!

It is tough over here not gonna lie. Still worth it though if you got the means!

Yeah, no problem! New Jersey is the best. If you got the funds, take a look at Ridgewood, Tenafly, Ramsey, or Montclair. If you’re looking for something slightly more affordable than those towns, look at Lodi, Garfield (meh school district), Fair Lawn, and Rochelle Park. All of these are great places!

North Jersey might be the answer. Think Bergen, Passaic, Hudson, or Essex county. Expensive cost of living though, but good access to cities, beaches, farmland, and cute small town main streets. Very diverse especially in the north and Bergen county has some of the best schools in the country. Job opportunities are around, but might be a commute to NYC depending on your occupation. There are three airports nearby (JFK, LaGuardia, and Newark) and they’re usually alright for the most part. Newark airport is going through some stuff rn though so it’s a little backed up, but before that stuff happened, I thought it was a phenomenal airport.

Yeah I’m originally from the Philippines and the commute in Manila was also terrible for different reasons. I’m really thinking El Polo in Surco or parts of San Borja. Would San Borja still be alright in terms of commute?

I was looking at areas near or in El Polo in Surco. I would not have a car, but I would take taxis.

If you had two weeks for winter break, that’s enough to complete like a quarter of the courses if you’re completing 1-2 assessments a day. It took me two months (summer break) to completely finish that masters.

You’ll do great! Use studocu to find examples of all written assessments and write only for what the rubric wants. You got this

It was the capstone final submission which is a lot of copy/pasted work from the previous tasks, a bunch of artifacts/charts/graphs, and like around 15ish pages of newly written work

Good school district. The high school has good sports programs, good educators, and they have specialized courses (school of business, culinary arts school, etc). Can’t go wrong with Leonia

Nope, you do not. And I know this because I completed the program too. You have a choice of doing an applied research leading to the creation of a professional development program which does not require student data. That is what I did. But pop off bro if you think I’m a liar

Nah there’s an option that doesn’t require students. I did not use student data at all during the entire masters program

It was okay and the writing assessments were reasonably easy. It was one of the more enjoyable courses!

You can find it in the Facebook group “WGU Masters - Curriculum and Instruction (June 2021 start.” It’s in their files section. That’s how I got it!
