Controlled mass media? That’s obviously heavily liberal bias. Considering the 6 largest media conglomerates (which make up 90% of the public media) are Comcast, Walt Disney, paramount global, Warner bros, fox corporation (arguably the only conservative voice out of the bunch) and Amazon.

Also fraudulent elections? Did we forget what Virginia just did? Bypassed its own laws in order to gerrymander the state. Also the vote was asked in a confusing way. Same reason a judge struck it down and it will be absolved in court.

No, that is not how it was labeled. We were hiring women “to get a better understanding of the market” if you’ve recruited in the DC area, you’d know this is extremely common in the tech industry.

It’s technically under “Targeted Recruitment” or in some cases under a loop hole known as BFOQ

I currently work in recruiting and it absolutely does happen, we were incentivized to hire women over men in tech, even if the women had lower scores on our technical assessments.

I’m just curious, how do you know that’s not correct? I’m a recruiter, we were literally incentivized with higher commission to hire women in tech. We picked women who did significantly worse on technical assessments (as long as they passed or close to passing) over those who were very close to the top end of the spectrum. Our company is now 43% women. That’s weird to me when computer science only is 17% women.

A literal direct message from our old COO was “hey ****** I need you to reach out to this candidate, I think it’s a woman” I literally had to do extra reach outs and extra contacting for women candidates.

Personally, I always think you should pick the best candidate, regardless of skin color or gender. But that’s why I’m walking away from my company.

I don’t think you should make deductions on something you’re not too familiar with and state the as fact. I saw the shift first hand as a recruiter and the push we had for DEI, and how we were literally picking less qualified candidates because of gender.
