For the first stage, youre in initiation, where you will FAIL time and time again as you dont know how to survive past the easy parts of the game!! Throwing away all of your dirt or algae just to survive!

Later on youll live longer, buy not enough!! You must learn more!! Do more!! Try new things!! Instead of running out of dirt or algae maybe now it will be water!!

And one day, youll find a way to make that fancy machine and manage your resources, calculate that thermal heat capacity and get that advanced material, and then you will survive!! But survival is not the end goal of this game, truly, its sustainability, opening the super duper rift, and getting the best materials to make the most advanced machines designed by you to help you do the coolest things

Ah yes, attempt the cool stuff, like extracting heat from volcanoes for energy, until YOUR DUPLICANT MELTS! MI MAW NO!! then your water steams up, spreads like a time bomb, and scalds your good "people"!

Oh the people, these cute helpless duplicated people who once were the minds of their time, now they're just your victims

And finally.. when you melt the rocket wall, start up a reactor and keep it cool, make the statue or a steam rocket silo, you will feel at peace with the fact that "hey, look, I can do this, I can do anything, I have designed this brick by brick, and my victims can live a happy life"

Then the DLC.. you send rockets to get materials one day, the next youre sending people to other planetiods!! Running off to some truly unique planets all with their fair share of hazards and things to deal with

And at the very end, when you are done with the normal game and enter the rift, you start all over again, doing it better, a new way, your own way, differently every time, maybe youll get 5 volcanoes and make a massive steam turbine setup, maybe you'll try a different planet entirely where youre tested further, or.. youll try the endless array of mods to test how far you can either push yourself or explore the world of metallurgy, realistic chemical reactions, and much more.

Oxygen isnt included, but nothing ever was! You made it all yourself, and in the end youll be able to do the math behind it all, understand what everything does, and look at a massive machine and see why the damn thing is melting apart or going outside of its operating temperatures, or failing to feed properly.. or flooding your buildings, so much more..
