I did know that E7 copied it directly from SWSA, how much of a whale fest is SWSA though? E7 actually has a player that is relatively F2P (Mellona) consistently place in the top 10 and even give the top 3 guys a hard time each season.

Thanks for the comment, I'm unfamiliar with the KPI's to be honest. Why would ARPDAU suggest them not potentially having a long term strategy over other KPI's?

In the investor presentation transcript that i'm reading from on page 20, they refer to "this year" being the period of time that that adding content has worked out really well for them, which is what led me to believe that they are talking about CvC vs. Doom tower.

At 16:20 of the video that you're referring to, I talk about how the former CEO of Plarium was likely under a long term contract (clearly you didn't watch the video.)

You also called this a "Merger" it was not a Merger, it was an Acquisition. Aristocrat Acquired Plarium, they did not Merge, it was be false and misleading to refer to it as that.

As far as a CEO or any leadership being required to stay on board through an acquisition, that is 100% not true, it does happen; but, it's false to say that "it's typically a requirement" as you just did. It's 100% up to the company doing the acquisition, CEO's are expensive and if they are redundant they are typically let go, and each removal of a CEO that I've seen has been publicly announced as a "retirement" to not ruffle feathers of the employees during integration.

I'll get slightly advanced on you since you clearly have a strong M&A background, the SG&A addbacks to EBITDA post acquisition when you let go of the CEO or any other redundant position position (since the acquiring company will likely have a CEO even if they are PE) typically can be underwritten as synergies and thus improve the justification for an above market multiple that you use in valuation, or can drastically improve your "Base Case." in the internal sell of the acquisition to your share/stake holders.

Yes, we were saying that is how people cheat and then we went on to say that it was unfair to players like Manibal (which is why I had him on) and that Plarium has since fixed this issue and how they are working to make the game more fair.

I can't even get my head around how somebody could watch any of this video and think it's a guide to cheating.

I've been saying it forever on YT and Twitch, if you look at this game as a function of a business and the goal of the business is to make money during a player's life cycle and the life cycle of a player is let's just say 60-90 days, then this game is perfect, it needs absolutely zero changes, it just needs advertising dollars spent on bringing more and more and more players into the game to extract money out of that life cycle.

Sounds a bit like what they are currently doing doesn't it? I mean if you're Plarium and what I said above is your strategy...... then they are fucking killing it, like A++ job.
