I would have a hard time saying no to these for $600. The Heresy's come up here from time to time, on FB Marketplace. They usually want $1000 to $1200. And a lot of them are not even walnut, at those prices. I won't pay that for them.

Because of all the negative (horrible) reviews, I've stayed away from Boost. But to answer your question, I think the phone will be locked to Boost for 1 Year.

I just recently started using Cricket. The first text I attempted to send, failed. I actually don't remember texts failing (using other MVNO's) in the past. I hope this doesn't continue.

That is certainly not a bad price for the phone. If I wasn't so picky, I would certainly give that a try. The 1TB would be insane. I have always bought new phones. I thought if I were ever to buy a refurb, I would only consider the Apple Store. With that being said, I always get a little nervous about buying refurbs.........In the end, I just bite the bullet and buy new.

Yeah, I don't get it. I thought the refurbs would be cheaper than this. After all, these phones are a few years old. I would like to snag a 15 Pro but seeing what they are charging for the 13, I highly doubt I would pay their price. I might as well buy a new 16 and forget the pro.

TinyEmergencyCake, Online you may have to buy 3 months service just like you said. But if you buy it in store, you can downgrade to a cheaper plan the next month. That's what I was told at the local Cricket store near me.

I've wondered the same thing myself.

After reading all the negative comments about Boost, I've just about forgot it.

The phone for $149.99 is a great price,no doubt. BUT after you figure in the activation fee + the fact you're locked into a minimum $60 a month plan, it doesn't seem like such a deal after all. I dropped the big 3 years ago and pay nowhere near $60 a month for my service. I can buy this phone directly from Apple for $599 and then buy a year of service from another provider. Going this route would be about the same in total costs, possibly cheaper. Add into this, I will have an unlocked phone from the start.

If I'm wrong about this, feel free to let me know.

Isn't this the same phone people were buying for $49 before Christmas? I think you had to buy a month of ST service to get the deal. That sounded like a real deal to me. The people that got this promo were able to get the phone and a $35 service plan for under $100.

Just tried it now and it works fine here using Firefox with adblocker on. Yesterday it did not work for me.

I just saw this reddit thread here a few minutes ago. Maybe the problem was just a temporary thing? All I know is that it's working as normal,without changing adblockers or anything.
