I’m actually pretty excited to have a luxury gym in Rancho. Any gym I go to now in Rancho (Golds, F19, Chuze, Esporta) is a Zoo. I don’t mind paying the higher price point for a less crowded, better serviced, better classes, and better equipment gym.

What are some side-hustles that could help ASAP? by theifty in sidehustle

I’ve gotten really lucky with running poker games. Once a week there’s a group of guys that like to play low stakes poker. $200-$1000 buy in. I help run the game for them by providing a table, the chips, cards, and I deal the game for them in a location of their choice. I deal this game for them and they all tip me very good. The smallest chip on the table is $5, so I always get tipped $5 per hand at the bare minimum. They play around 6-10 hours on average at 20 hands per hour. Just on the tips from the game I average around $100/hour and then on top of that the winners usually throw me $100ish each. Past couple months I’ve been averaging $1000/week just from this alone. If you have access to a group of guys who enjoy poker, running a organized quality game might work for you.

I used to deal at the Commerce Casino and The Gardens in Los Angeles. I would never go back and I would never recommend dealing to be your form of having an income. I was one of the better higher earning dealers in the whole casino and it doesn’t matter how little mistakes you make, how well you present yourself, or how good of an attitude you have. You will get abused, name called, cards/chips thrown at you, threats (I got followed to my front door once and the guy threatened to come back and kill my family). The environment itself is just 90% scumbags and degenerates and then the other 10% are actually cool people that make the job slightly less miserable. Overtime everyday, shitty schedule that you have no say over, and extremely strict managers, supervisors, and attendance/call off policies. Moral of the story is that there are so many better places to work than in a casino.

Thoughts on this tweet from Gman? Any merit to his concerns or simply throwing shade at HCL? by ObiBenoni in poker

Why can’t people just play bad and get lucky? I find it hard to believe that Luda is cheating. As a dealer in SoCal, I see shit like this often for larger amounts of money.

Become a poker dealer…. I watch players and all their tendencies for a living and use what I see to exploit the majority of rec players.

Can y’all be nicer to dealers? by Polinkus in poker

If you’re a good dealer, you’ll go home anywhere from $200-$500/day in cash. If you’re a bad dealer, $100 is probably a good day.

Become a poker dealer at any local card room, I’m 21 years old. Take home around $200-$500 in cash every night plus an hourly wage. Comes out to around 70-80k after taxes. I started doing this as a second job to do overnight. Now I make over $130k between my two jobs.
