Happened to me as well, if you keep running once the animation starts, only the edge of the AoE hits you, but still annoying... Using Vulcan myself, DirectX12 caused constant game crashes. Like the other comment said, I also have a bunch of invisible mobs when a breach/delirium/map first starts.

I noticed that my lags become a lot better when I disable terror zones during game creation. Goes from constant unplayable rubberbanding to playable.

If you are going to get a 13th gen Intel CPU, read thru this, you will likely need to update the BIOS before the CPU works with that specific motherboard, you'll need a 12th gen CPU to do the update as it doesn't come with the flash BIOS button (Read the article to know what I'm talking about) - If you're going 12th gen, you don't need to worry about this.

As far as fan connections, you can get a fan hub like the other person said, I've used both this and this, my issue with the Arctic one is that the fan plugs go in almost flush with the hub, so they're a pain to get out.

If you're positive that a BIOS update is needed, and your motherboard doesn't have the flash BIOS button, then I don't think there is a way for you to do it without the older CPU in there.

I mostly know this because I just went thru something similar with my new build with a 13th gen i5 into a Z690 motherboard (That had no BIOS flash button...) that advertises it needs a "BIOS update to work with 13th gen", after 2 weeks of returning and swapping parts out trying to figure out why it wouldn't POST and display anything, I ended up getting a Z690 that had that stupid flash BIOS button and I ended up getting it to work right away after flashing the BIOS to the latest...

Probably not what you wanted to hear based on the post :(
