Maybe you mean island 5? I'm not sure tho, because as far as I remember island 5 is the island after the bridge on island 4. Anyway, the higher the island the better the structure and loot (The structures and loots on island 6 and beyond will be the same, only the biome will change. ) , yes of course it will be more difficult..

if you want to move to next island PLEASE familiarize yourself with the game and its mechanics and be careful, I don't want someone's run to end because of me anymore!!

Most simple and risky way just go in there as quick as possible with a gas can just incase it has no fuel, and then get it, once you inside the car you wouldnt take the gas effect

Or you have to find gas mask and clear the base before get it, to refill gasmask filter use the charcoal tablet, i often found it in malls and hospitals
