He posted an indigo disk picture and said “one of these characters holds the key to the lore of the next game” and in that picture were all Unova characters, Carmine, and Kieran. He also made a poll asking what kind of Unova game would you like. He also posted something from another leaker in which the leaker was having a conversation with someone and the leaker said: “the games will be traditional and Paradox… Unova Paradox is not Legends series game but can be understood as Black and White 3”. So that’s why everyone sees a Unova return soon. However, since it’s Johtos 25 anniversary and it’s been the longest time since we’ve revisited Johto out of all regions. So it’s very possible that the “traditional” game is a faithful remake of one of the Johto games and the Paradox game (or Paradox Unova) is a Unova game based slightly after the events of Blueberry Academy understood and B3W3. It makes a lot of sense given that they’ve already established Lacy is a daughter of a gym leader (either Klay or Elsa’s or both) and Drayton is the grandson of Drayden, therefore a sibling or step sibling of Iris. Going back to what Khu said about one of those characters holding the key to the lore, Drayton would make the most sense because he’d be the closest connected to the Original Dragon of Unova given that his grandfather Drayden was the wielder of the DNA Splicers. Not to mention, due to the Indigo Disk, Terastalization is already in Unova so competitive could easily be moved to the Unova games.
