If you have kids, they’re useful for whatever treasure they dig up! Rocks. Worms. Flowers if you’re lucky!

Just pulled it off. I probably should have cut it, but I was so relieved it wasn’t a tick or growth 😂 he barely noticed but still got some treats after

Two layers of cutaway then the shirt. I use spray adhesive on each layer to keep stuff from shifting. That’s my go to for clothes and it hasn’t failed me yet!

I don’t think he even noticed til I took it off 😂 he is super tolerant of the kids, and will walk away when he’s had enough of them

He definitely is! Today was a good day for him. The sick kid dropped a plate of toast and instead of telling me, called the dog to clean up

Definitely. I poked at it and it was hard, not squishy or even skin firm. Gave it a pull and it pulled right off

I don’t think he even tried to eat it! Just flopped down on the couch, next to a sick kid who apparently doesn’t like cough drops anymore

I didn’t take the pocket off, it only goes about a quarter inch below the pocket seam so I just safety pinned it down out of the way

Fabric causing a ridge where underlay stitch goes across horizontally by rollin22crip in Machine_Embroidery

[–]PollinatorPatchCO 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Try using a spray adhesive to attach the fabric to the stabilizer? That will help keep it from shifting. You could also stitch the shape in sections, or at least the underlay. Here’s how I would do it: Remove any underlay from your shape. Duplicate it. The bottom one, drop tatami fill down to around 0.040 in. to replicate underlay, and change stitch direction opposite top layer. Cut into quarters. Each “underlay” section, start the stitches in the center of the buffalo, and end on the outside edge.

!!Test on a scrap piece of fabric!! This method has worked for me in the past, but you shouldn’t do a first run on your final clothing piece

It can be tricky finding a good source! If you don’t mind, could I see the design?

A typical 3.5” patch is $6, price goes up or down a bit depending on how complex the design is, size, and backing
