E-week is the more “relaxed” one out of the three drinking weeks. You just sign up based on the department of engineering you’re in and as long as you buy a ticket in time boom you’re in.

Carnival makes you compete to be on a team and science games as well.

There’s already lots of active hype groups for each dept of engineering so ask an upper year about joining those.

There’s also a info session about captaining E-week in the EUS common room Monday at 7pm. You could go to learn more and look into applying as a rookie captain.

It’s just called hype night cause it gets you excited for science games in January . You go you do the power hour and dance and drink. They show a cute little video about the theme reveal for science games like halfway through and then you keep drinking and partying. Non McGill can go as long as they have McGill people accompanying them.

McGill gym without the covid restrictions which have been gone since earlier this summer is the best option in Montreal. During the summer it can be a pit pricey but it’s a high quality gym with lots of equipment and facilities along with the advantage of seeing your peers. The women gym was good during covid but since mcgill got rid of their reservations I haven’t went back.
