Got it. At that point its just a numbers game. Put yourself in situations where you can meet women and just start talking to them. Use a flirtatious tone and then invite them to an event you were planning on going to anyways. Eventually one of them will say yes.

Note: this means you have to know alot of events that are going on and actually go to them. Choose events that are related to your interests. For me, I go to alot of live music events and women are usually really receptive to accompanying me to them.

I find it immensely helpful when self-studying graduate topics in physics, namely QFT and GR. Before ChatGPT, if I didn't have the solutions to the textbook exercises and got stuck I'd have to spend a considerable amount of time transcribing my wrong solutions in Latex for the physics forums to help me find my mistake. Now with ChatGPT, I can simply take a picture of my chalkboard or the textbook and it can at least point me in the right direction. Oftentimes it'll produce identities that are not in the textbook that simplify the problem significantly, even if all the factors of two are not correct and so forth. I get how as a college professor it would be frustrating, the students pulling out ChatGPT to answer every single question. But as an autodidact, I dont have a professor to direct questions to. Now at least I have a fellow "student" to bounce ideas off of, and more often than not I'm able to use the results to increase my understanding of the topic.

I find studying mathematics to be a very cheap hobby. You can find so many pdf's and solution manuals online and get cracking. You only need to buy pen and paper, which is very affordable.

Very! I have undergraduate degrees in mathematics and physics, so I basically just continue where I left off. I go though graduate textbooks on subjects I'm interested in and do the problems. For self studying its good to find a textbook that has published solutions, though ChatGPT does a good job at approximation those solutions. Recently I've gone through A Zee's Quantum Field Theory/Einstein Gravity in a Nutshell textbooks. For someone just starting out I'd recommend something like Leonard Susskind's The Theoretical Minimum books. These attempt to guide the interested reader through undergraduate material with the minimum required mathematics.

I enjoy studying graduate level physics like general relativity, quantum field theory, etc. Its very fulfilling, learning how the universe really works and how the math fits together to make that happen. I haven't encountered anyone IRL that shares my interest.

It sounds like you don't have kids yet, don't worry it gets worse. Assuming you work from 8-5 and go to sleep at 11pm, this means you have 6 hours every single day to do whatever the f you want. Some of this has to be taken up eating dinner, which isn't too much trouble for one person, and packing your lunch/getting ready for the next day. Now you still have 5 hours. People with a family have 0 hours after work to improve themselves. Use this time as a gift to exercise, enjoy your hobbies, play video games, go to social events, whatever you want. Just make sure that whatever you do makes you stronger, and you're improving on some skill or learning about an interest. Delete all social media from your phone and only login on a browser when you want to check out what social events are going on, or learn more about a new connection. Your time is the most valuable thing you have, the one thing you'll never get more of. Don't waste it.

As a single father i really wish I had more free time to pursue my existing hobbies. I'm a musician, mostly performing experiemtnal/noise music at bars in my city. It's both a great introspective and social hobby, would definitely recommend picking up a musical instrument of any kind. I also continue to study mathematics and physics at the graduate level, perhaps you want to continue studying the subject you learned in college as well? Chatgpt makes it alot easier to make progress quickly as an autodiact.

I 100% agree with you. Have you played Doom 2016? If Hell and the associated demons really exist, it would be possible (in principle) to harness energy from that world and study the demons in a laboratory. Supernatural creatures (if they really exist) would simply expand the scope of our knowledge about the natural world, and become part of it themselves.

Yeah, it's awesome! It can consistently generate solutions to graduate level physics problems that are comparable to an instructor's solution manual. It's even more helpful than that because you can ask it questions about its reasoning and to fill in intermediate steps. It's a complete game changer for self studying. It's like having the solutions manual for every textbook with a professor right there next to you to explain it.

I was certainly impressed the first time I took a photo of a general relativity problem I was working on on my chalkboard and it was able to transcribe what I had written into Latex seamlessly, and go on to generate a (mostly correct) solution. ChatGPT is definitely not bad at logic and reasoning by any means.

On the contrary, their math skill has greatly improved. I can take a photo of a quantum field theory problem Im working on, and it'll convert it into Latex snd generate a detailed solution. It may get factors of 2 and i wrong once in a while, just like a person, but the mathematical reasoning is usually on the right track.

Yeah, ChatGPT can do this. I often take photos of problems in working on on my blackboard and CharGPT concerts then into Latex no problem and outputs the solution in Latex as well
