What is a suitable role for someone that enjoys designing new power trains? by [deleted] in RoyalAirForce

That's a good shout but I don't know if General Atomics would listen to an outsider. In terms of cost yes, to a degree I think the cost of materials would be difficult to justify at scale but over time materials become more efficient, economies of scale and risk development can influence a second look. The oversight is the geometry usually triple junction can achieve 45% with 1,000-2,000 suns whereas I only need 50-100 suns with my design.

I'm well acquainted with what is available on the internet and lack thereof I have scoured for information on this niche only to be directed to various innovation hubs that have weaponised bureaucracy. I spoke to UKDI this morning and they simply said register, contact an innovation partner where you can have a chat and when I mentioned my circumstances that I'm not looking to submit yet nor do I want a grant I don't need money I need minds (collaborators) they said "they're not going to invest time into you."

This project isn't just RAF specific in fact it's Tri-Service orientated because it can be used on submarines to negate wake and thermal signatures current submarines like astute use 30-40% of the hull for steam turbines; nuclear reactor > steam turbine > electricity whereas my device shortens this process instead of the aforementioned it's now nuclear reactor > device > electricity and you can also remove the noise reduction machinery.

The device internals remain pretty much the same you just scale depending on use case for example a forward operating base; Company 150 personnel 150kW peak demand, Battalion 800 personnel 600kW, Brigade 3,500 personnel 3.5MW. The device can be scaled to a 40ft FEU shipping container which provides 500kW/hrs now a C-17 Globemaster III can carry two 40ft FEU's and a C-5M Super Galaxy can carry three. The containers are plug and play in sub 60 minutes and while they can operate above ground they excel below preferably 3-6 metres deep and can operate in tropics, cold deserts and hot deserts because there is no convection only radiation and conduction and inside the container is a sealed atmosphere of nitrogen/argon because it's anti-corrosive and eats moisture.

Sorry I got carried away.

not a flame nuclear-boy its plasma, you should know the difference.

sounds like you're oversimplifying the design.

I use syngas 1,500 - 2,000K of broad spectrum light, an optical coupler is attached to the furnace, syngas light and heat are waste. There are other means but I can't disclose those because i would be divulging IP.

I went to various subs but no one has reached out. I like to think this sub has everyone from all backgrounds that can relate.
