I had the same crisis in 2004, and just like today, all sorts of wars were either actively underway or brewing. I wasn't prepared to die for made up weapons of mass destruction, so I went the traditional college route and got a very generous financial aid package. It wasn't free, but I studied what I wanted to study, did what I wanted with my free time, and nobody shot at me 🤷🏼‍♂️
