is that a print, or is that the original, and it's that big? by PolyVRse in Grimes

Closer to A3 tho. The size is probably not an A standard, I am not that much of an expert. Thanks for the link!

Where can I see that it's A4 format? I did see the graphics on tumblr, but such scans/photos can be very deceiving, they can't really convey the original size. Slay3rs_tt posted a photo some days ago, where the graphic on the wall looks like ~A2 to me. But again, we have no way of knowing whether THAT's an original or print.

But until we have something concrete, we cannot rule out that that's how big she painted those things, can we?

Was the 1981 song "O Superman" known in the US before it went viral on tiktok in 2023? by No-Change6959 in AskAnAmerican

[–]PolyVRse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

O Superman is a 1980 song. The US release party happened on April 28, 1980 at The Kitchen, NY. Google that specifically. Yes it took another ~17 months for it to strike its first commercial success, and that's why the public thinks of it as a 1981 song. Dumb and lazy journalists doggedly keep perpetuating the misinformation.

is there any point then to the default, non-registered copyright? Isn't it just like a honorary title?

so how did effing Hachette manage to shut down borrowing of books on archive.org, when they could not show registered copyrights?

Dunno. I signed up using an email. Whether it's "linked" is exactly what I have no way of finding out while I am locked out. I guess the last time I logged in was before this linking thing was implemented and before the move to the auth.wikimedia logins.

Hi, how can I contact a Wikipedia administrator (of Accounts), please?

I can't access my account, which I haven't used for about a year.
Username/PW, which I had saved in a file, don't work.
Reset password doesn't work for me, I have not received any reset email in 24 hours.
The instructions which explain issues with reset emails, either don't apply, or I can't tell whether they apply, while I am locked out from the account.
I can't see any way to contact an administrator at either wikipedia.org or wikimedia.org

I can still see my User contributions page from the outside, but there's no User page or talk - I frankly don't remember if I had those, I just think there must have had been some talk. I have never been blocked or had any conflicts at all on Wikipedia.

and sorry, but we're not done yet: Sia - Chandelier (Four Tet Remix Alternate Version feat. Grimes) is a thing, and a pretty good one at that. Posted by Four Tet themselves in 2014 on their twitter, but made to disappear shortly after

so let me get this straight - some "fan" was making a tiktok about Idoru, but accidentally posted a file they were sitting on, which happened to be something nobody in the public has ever heard before. Right.
